The 50 BMG serves no hunting purpose, but it does serve a sporting purpose. I think every one should have at least one.

Long Range target shooting. Putting holes in old cars so the wasps can get
in to build nests. Help nature out you know. And it's only a
semi- behemoth cartridge.Ed.

A friend of mine killed a pronhorn at 750 yds. with a .50 BMG. Good luck.

.505 Gibbs and .416 Weatherby.

Hey, what you guys were saying about shooting oldcars for wasps and stuff reminded me of what people do in California for their target shooting.

I thought a 30-06 was when I was 10.I could not believe my dad shot that thing .Begged him to let me shoot it.Big mistake ,thought man this thing almost knocked me down and it sounded like the world was coming to an end.I couldn't wait to shoot it again...............
