I would say...just a decent deal. I just sold my mark II for $450.00 just the other day--which is about what I bought it for new a couple years ago. I don't believe that redfield scopes are considered very high quality (unlike the old redfields) so I don't think it would add much. Although mine was a good hunting gun, I never could get it to group too well, although I did not try the whole spectrum of bullets. Mark II's are all over the internet auction sites for $500.00 (but then you would have to pay shipping and receiving (ffl) charges) so it's a decent deal but not outstanding imo. I hope it treats you well.

with just ten rounds through it it might as well be new. With a scope on it that a good deal. a new one at the cheapest without a scope is 500.00 that i have come in cntact with. id say its a good deal. but i can tell you a really good deal. i bought the same gun but in a 7mm mag last year with a leupold vari x II for 400.00. the guy pawned the gun cheaper than that and didnt realize how much he could get out of it so i got it at a steal.

JoeD...... whats the manufacturing date? it aint beat up? ... price....wouldnt hurt to get it down $50-$100 fortrigger work, if needed.....often that never used, hardly used , only a few rounds, and only at the range is a SALES PITCH.......pitch back to him....Hell.. a new Ruger is about $600-$700...Id think long and hard......a gunshop might give you a better deal

i really dont know, seems like an ok deal to me.

I bought a custom made ruger m77 mark II, .243 with a leupold VX-II for $200 a couple months ago for my daughter. it was missing the inner magazine. it was custom made for a female Soldier i work with that needed money. i think i got steal. what do you think?
