I got a Sako, and I shoot 7828 with 160gr accubond. Its my moose/elk gun. I dont' have a gooddeer load for it. But for long bean field shots, I would load up some SST's maybe. Maybe bullistic tips

Don't use the Ballistic Tip on elk and moose. The Nosler Partition, Trophy BondedBear Claw,Barnes X, Nosler Accubond . . . . these are all bullets tough enough for large game at high impact velocities.

The 140gr partition and 140gr tsx work very well on moose and elk.I now load only the 140gr ballistic tip for my 7mmstws,because I now only hunt deer, bighorn and pronghorn with them.

I LIKE THE SHEPHARD SCOPE , AND THE RANGE FINDER CIRCLES ARE VERY ACCURATE.

I have used R-22 and IMR 7828 teamed up with Nosler's Ballistic tip and partition in 140 gr in the stw for nearly 15 years with good results. I have tried alot of different powder/bullet combinations over the years ...both of those work for me.
