Ok guys I need some help. I am kicking around the idea of a elk rifle and need some ideas on the particulars. All I know is I want the action to be a Lawton M7000. Barrel and length are all up in the air. So is the rest.

So what would you all suggest. There is no budget either.

what do you wanna do with it? is it a dedicated long range rig? I know a couple smiths that specialize in extreme range hunting rifles. I personaly shoot a APS built 7mm that has the 338 lapua as a parent case, I shoot 160 accubonds at 3500 fps with accuracy that is unbelievable, shot a 2" group off a bipod last week at 660 yds.
