Default Ruger #1 thumbhole stock

Does anyone know of a company that makes a thumbhole stock for a Ruger #1? A buddy of mine is looking. He broke the stock on his and wants a thumbhole stock. There was a company making them but they went out of business.

I have never seen a thumbhole stock on a No.1.
If he purchases a matching fore end with his new stock, please tell him to let me know if he is selling his old fore end

I"ll let him know. The gun shop we use said the only company he knew that did make them went out of business so I figured somebody here might know of another company that does.

I don't know of a company either. But I would suggest that he call some of the stock makers (Boyds, etc.), and see if they can make one. It might be a little pricey, but I'm sure he could find somebody to make it. Good luck
