Default Inexpensive scope

I am going to put a scope on a rifle that does not warrant spending a lot of money. It's a .222, but rather inexpensive. What are the members views on scopes that cost less than $150 or even less than $100? Any real bargains out there?

Go on an auction site and buy a good old used scope. The steel tube Weavers are good, and you can't beat the Lyman All-American scopes!!

Keep yore powder dry!!

SWFA had Simons Aetec on sale for about 129.00. I use one on black powder and friend has 1 on .308. Quite impressive for the cost. You might want to give them a call.

$150.00 to scope a .222 is in the right price range. Granted you won't get a Leupold or other top of the line scope.
Here is a good place to start http://64.224.40.78/miva/merchant.mv
