Default The .204....info on it?

Well since I'm stuck here at work and I can't surf certain places I was curious if you guys had any info on the .204. I'm considering getting one for coyotes and nutria etc.How does it perform ballistically? What rifles are offered in it?Terminal performance?

Feel free to post your experiences or any helpful websites (hopefully I'll be able toview them) or data. Thanks in advance.

I did check out that website. It's pretty good but still under construction. I do like what I'm hearing so far. The only thing I don't understand is how it's better than a .22-250? Seems to me that the .22-250 still outperforms with a bigger bullet.

Everything that I have read is that a 22-250 will out perform the .204. Most people seem to agree that the .204 is a fad. It is the new thing that is marketed just right to make everyone think that it is the answer to their prayers. I had the choice recently between the two. With the history of the 22-250, it was an easy decision.

You want a 22-250. It's superior in every way. More bullets selections and alot more versatile. Will buck wind better and carry energy further. Speed is'nt everything, but it will keep up in speed also to a point. Look at the speed difference, then look at 300yds speed difference.

i have one of both, a rem 700 in 22-250 and a nef handi rifle in .204, they are both fun to shoot and hot performers, but if i could only have one in eitherbrand of rifle i'd still pick the 250

I got a 204 in an encore. After like 200 dollars of work, it shoots .7MOA. Flat little shooter. If I had it to do over, I would have one, just bought a bolt action, and two, got it in a 22-250.

I have shot only groundhogs, and its performed awesome. But for coyotes, I would like to shoot a heavier bullet. And nothing 40gr will shoot in my 204, but the 32gr is great.
