Default RE: fusion ammo ?

I was considering trying them this year but have to see how they shoot out of my rifles. I know one member on this site used them last year and had good results, ey James...

I tried the 165gr in my300wsm and the best group I got was about 7". I've read alot of good stuff on them ballistically and their game taking abillity but they wouldn't work in my gun for nothing. I switched to some winchester premiers and started getting nickle and dime size groupings. See the Model 70 300wsm accuracy thread. I just posted on it last night so it shouldn't be far down. You can see my fusion shots and my winchester shots. If you do try them hope that you have better luck with them.

The Fusions shot under one inch no sweat in my 270. Their performance was the best I have ever seen on deer with the 270. These are big mule deer. They shoot great from my 308 Browning A-Bolt as well. My neighbor used them in his 243 with good results. With the Fusions available, I will never load another shell for my 270. Federal claims the work equally well on Elk but I have not tried them for that. If they shoot good in your gun, you will love there performance on Game.

I use the 130 grain but there is no reason that the 150 grain would not work well also. With it' high SD however the 130 is plenty of bullet for the 270.
