.410 won't eject

Hi all,

I just got a topper model 148 from harrington and richards. If i put an unspent shell in the gun, it ejects fine. But if I fire the gun and break the barrell, it won't eject. It gets jammed in there and i have to pry it out. Any ideas?

I would clean the chamber really well and see if that helps. Also, try a different brand of ammo and see if it persists. If it does, contact H&R. Good luck
