hey those are nice groups and i like marlin rifles but my 170 dollar savage in 17hmr will do that to not trying to knock you or your gun i just cant see spending the money

I have a Savgae also that will shoot the same. The .17 HMR is a great caliber. I will be using it next week on squirrels.

no offece taken. around here theres very little price difference between a savage and a marlin 17. and i just like the look of the marlin with the wood stock.

I saw a marlin .17 for $189.00 brand new. I do like the way savages shoot though.
