Default help too many excellent choices

Help! So many excellent choices.
Thanks to all, for input. I have decided to purchase 2 rifles this year in 7mm-08, and 300 win mag. Now which brand do you recommend? Here is what I have narrowed to.
Sako 75 grey wolf
Rem. 700 Mnt LSS
Tikka T3 LSS
Browning A-BOLT SS
Thompson Pro-Hunter
Is the sako worth the $
Thanks again to all.

Get the 7MM-08 in a Mountain rifle and the 300 in the A-Bolt...

If you got the money get both in sakos. If not get in brownings or remingtons. I would stay away from thepoorly made T-3's. Some shoot well, but for me there's more to it than just shooting good.

I'm partial to Sakos myself, so of thoseyou listed that would be my recommendation.

A rifle you didn't list, but you should probably consider, is the Kimber. I had the opportunity recently to handle a couple and was very impressed.

As previously mentioned if you can afford it, get Sako rifles. I must add, I find you have an excellent choice in cartridges. Being that I have Sako rifles has nothing to do with what I suggested...

Can I be the first to jump off your list?

The Savage fans are a fairly exuberant bunch, and the rifles themselves have been getting some good press recently. If nothing else, folks seldom begrudge the accuracy of a Savage. No, I've never owned one, but I'm looking pretty seriously at doing so.

If you were to get a 7mm-08 in a Savage Model 14 American Classic, you couldlet me know if it's worth me getting one!

This review showed up on a Savage page, but it's also on the paid part of the Chuck Hawks site. http://www.savageshooters.net/Pages/Reviews/14AC_7mm08_Review.html

depends on what you want. if it were me and i were in the market for a bolt action it would be a savage. if i were in the market for a single shot it would be the t/c pro hunter.

It's impossible to go wrong with any A-bolt rifle.

IMO, If your heart is set on bolt guns, I'd go with A-Bolt.

If I were in your shoes, I'd outfit myself with a T/C Pro Hunter and purchase these two barrels and a couple of high quality scopes.
