7mm STW Remington 700
Still for sale. I purchased a Remington 700 Sendero Stainless Fluted 7mmSTW in 2001, broke it in by the book, but could not get better than 2 inch group. Had a gunsmith change to a Hart barrel, trued the action, Tubbs Lugs. Shoots 1/2 inch group. Used it one deer season, too much gun for me. I still have the original barrel. Excellent condition. Includes Leupold bases,I'm keeping the scope. $1400, or $1900 with leupold VariX-III 3.5X10X50mm, money order. Will ship to FFL. PM or email [email protected]

RE: 7mm STW Remington 700
blaserman, the barrel is the same length as the original barrel, 25 1/4" from the action , but I suppose it's called a 26" barrel, 13/16" dia. at muzzle.
Sorry, I don't know the twist but can find out if necessary.
The bill I have from the gunsmith is to:
True the Action(square the bolt to the face)
Install Tubbs Lug
Bed & Float
Install Hart Barrel
Work Up Load: Hodgdon H4831, 76 grs, 215 Mag primer, Win Brass, 140 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, 3450 fps.
The stock is the original Remington Sendero stock, solid composite Kevlar/Arimid Fiber, with aluminum bedding block.
Thegun weighs 9 pounds without scope and rings.
I also have the reloading dies to include in the price. I don't reload but bought them thinking I might.
The gunsmith was Charles Henry at Oconee Gun Shop, Dublin Georgia, Toll Free 1-877-GUN-3030.
