Default Winchester Model 70 experts?

Newbie here. Howdy.

Does anyone know if a late 70's Winchester M70 XTR long action will fit properly in a stockfrom a 90's M70Classic long action with Controlled Round Feed?

Thanks,

SilverMN6

I think all the post-64 actions are the same basic configuraton, the factory does list the controlled feed stock seperately though. An aftermarket stock might need a little modification, but should work. I would contact the manufacturer just to make sure though.
