Default .223 question

hey all....i shoot a .223 by New England Fireamrs (H&R), the handi rifle. I was wondering, shooting a 45 grain bullet my scope is on at 100 yards, how high would i need to aim at an animal that is 250-300 yards away?

Id say about 6in for 250 and 8 or 9 at 300. Give or take.
