Default Is there such a thing??

Is there a single shot out there that I could have a 12ga rifled barrel for and also have a barrel that shoots say 25-06??

If you mean being able to switch out barrels and change from a single shot 12ga to single shot 25-06 then yes, both calibers are available in rifle barrels for the T/C Encore.

I have had the Handi Rifle in 25-06 and 12 Ga. They are a fine little rifle for the average hunter. You can have this set-up for about 300.00.

You might want to keep your eyes open for used Savage model 24 (combo gun). Its a single shot ceterfire barrel over a single shot 12 ga.
They come in several varmint size as well as 30-30 (sorry, not 25-06).

I'd agree with wayomic. T/C Encore all the way.

T/C would be my choice. im sure the nef is OK but the T/C will nearly positivly be great. own a few tc's and shoot quite a few too and none have made me think poor of them.

You need a 12 ga and 2506 barrel, you swap between the 2 barrels. TC encore is a sweat rig but anything but in the "Budget" offerings for a rifle. The NEF is and may just be all you need at this point or future for that matter. Do some research and hopefully you can get some hands on time with both. Good luck
