HANDI 06 JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER
I was out to-day with the 06 handi and how much better can it get? I was happy with my loads which were IMR3031 44.5 grain and 160 SP Hornady bullet OAL 3.300 average size group is 3 shots just in the ball park of 7/8" at the 100 yard target from the bench which I posted here a year ago.
I drop my load to 44.0 grains and improved the OAL to 3.318 3 shots again at the 100 yd target would you belive a 1/2 spread,the guy next to me could not think this gun could print groups like it did.
I did install the plastic washer under the forestock and did do a little sanding for a full free floated barrel.I don;t think there is any more room for any more improvement for this deer rifle
