Default rem oil on synthetic stocks?

Is it a bad idea to put rem oil on synthetic stocks?

Default RE: rem oil on synthetic stocks?

I wouldn't do it on purpose. It will make it slippery most likely and could possibly break down the material over time. I doubt it though.

Hot soapy water works really well for cleaning synthetic stocks, and they don't need a protective coating of anything, that is the whole point behind using them..
