Default Glass bedding ?

Got me some bedding comp from brownells and was going to do one of my rifles this week end... I've been doing a litte research on the subject and it seems that some people say you only have to bed the action... Just wondering what some of you guys thought...

I bed the action and usually the first inch or so of the barrel, especially with heavy contour barrels.

I generally do like Stubblejumper said.... make sure you free-float the barrel from where you stopped with full contacted bedding. You should also seal up the barrel channel where you hogged it out to get the free-float. Some use epoxy spray, some glass and free-float the barrel channel the same time as they do the action. Both will work. Good luck..........
P.S.... Allow for some clearance on the sides, front and bottom of the recoil lug. You can do this with electrical tape.
