Springfield XD-40

This is my first hang gun purchase and it is really a nice gun and shoots very well. I got it from a friend that is leaving for Irag next month and he needed some extra cash so I got it for cheap. It only had a 100 rounds through it before I got it. What I am wondering is if any one has one of these and has changed out the barrel to shoot 9mm? I have only been able to find one sight that offers the barrel conversion and they want $149 for it. Just checking to see if anyone has done it for less.

I doubt you would be able to do it for cheaper than that. I think I gave $150 for the barrel and new spring to convert my XD357 sig to 40 S&W. Good luck
