Thinkin bout picking one of these up. There's a shop by my house that has em for $579...Doesn't that seem a little high for the Sportsman 12g?

Independent gun shop, thats about right. Wally world has em from time to time for under 500 dollars.
I have had 1187's for a while, and never had an issue. Just get ya some replacement gaskets/seals and your good to go.
