Can I put a scope on my pistol and find a holster?

As some of you know I just bought a Ruger .44 Super Blackhawk with a seven inch barrel. Can you puta scope on it and put it in a holster? Also, how accurate are you guys that have a gun similar to this with open sights?

Yes I have a scoped holster for my S&W .500. You should be able to get one for your gun at most sporting good stores. Accuracy wise I shoot 3-5'' groups at 100 yds with shooting sticks or off a bench. A scope brings MUCH more accuracy with a handgun for me over open sights.

The ones I've seen are either the bandolier style or shoulder holsters.
I have one for my S&W 629 44mag for the shoulder.

I would really like a leather belt rig that has an open front to accomodate the scope rings. Anybody seen anything like that?

I have one on my SRH .44 mag 7.5 in barrel ,it is a uncle mikes shoulder holster. It works great for me, good luck!!!!

Natchez a couple years ago had scoped holsters by Bianchi.I'm sure they still carry them.These were Shoulder holsters. If I remember right they were right @ 60.00.

That would be sweet! Seems to me that they could do it like an old break-front or clamshell holster.
