I just bought one exactly like you want off of gunbroker NIB. I haven't had a chance to mount a scope on it or fire it. It is a BDL custom deluxe. They are a discontinued gun and mine is not for sale. Mine is beautiful and has some real nice wood. Go to gunbroker is my advise. I just looked up my records and I gave $580 S&H to my ffl. $20 for him brought it to $600 with no sales tax. here is what gunbroker 1 of 3 thatshows today http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=48314624

RE: .222 remington wanted
There are two 700 BDL's in .222 Rem. for sale in the latest (June) issue of "Gunlist". If you wish, I can e-mail you a copy of the ads. Give me a PM and let me know............
I know a gun shop that had a adl 222 about a week ago. It is however an adl synthetic. If your interested I can get you the shops name and phone number.
Damn Biscuit you are right. They show them now. I WOULD swear that they didn't make them last year. What????????? I thought that I looked at their website and guys were talking that if you wanted a .222 you had to go for a CZ......man I am confused...Help.
Biscuit, I called Remington this am and they said they have been making BDL' in .222 since the 60's. Man I don't know where I got that idea that they were discontinued. Sorry guys
Another caliber I want to get to round out my varmint collection is a .17 Rem. They are a very accurate round. Ammo choices are slim though. Still a neat caliber.
