after much debate i finally decided what 17 hmr to get. A Remiington 504T w/ a BSA 6-18x40. I put it on order monday so it is suppose to be in sometime next week. I can't wait. Here's a picture

Cool. I love the round. This is mine that has been on order now for 7 months. Should be here any day. Savage 93R17BTVS with accutrigger. Enjoy your new gun when it gets here.

hardcore hunter why has it taken so long for your gun to come in? my gun shop only takes a couple weeks max for a gun to come in when they order it

Savage announced these guns but wasn't making them until now. Savage told me that dealers wouldn't start seeing these until late spring. A gunshop in Ankeny,IA has gotten two in but they were sold as soon as they hit the rack. My LGS should have mine soon is what he said Savage told him the other day. I had a Ruger Alaskan .480 ordered for a year after they announced the gun. I have had mine now for about 6 months and the gunshop in Ankeny I was telling you about still hasn't got any in. Gun manufacturers announce a new product before they have it available, to sum it up.
