I'm in Australia and in hunting mags. Rem. has gun ads. There is a short barreled rifle called a "Patrol Rifle" in .308 and .223. Is it avalible in N.A. and does has anyonr shot one? Looks like a nice handy "bush deer and moose gun in .308 and the .223 might be a good coyote calling rifle.

I think they call it the 7615p. It is a short Law enforcement rifle. I see it in 308 but thats the only one I have seen. It well may be made in 223 as well. Most LE rifles over here are. Good Hunting
I have a 7615 in 223, its actually chambered in 5.56x45, rifled 1-9, for a 16.5" barrel it shoots decent, with cheap reman sp hunting ammo groups hover just over 1".
