who makes 223 wssm rifles?

i would like to know what gun manufacturers make 223wssm?
browning, winchester,... any others?

Sales in this round are big flops and I wouldn't waste my money buying one. There are plenty of win mod 70's on the market if that tells you anything. Get a .223 or better yet a 22.250. You will be much happier. Ammo for the .223wssw is going to be hard to find in the near future; believe me. BTW welcome to the forum!!

I like the round but it is not selling very well. There was a artical in guns and ammo about this round and the guy was pushing a 40 grain vmax up to 4500 fps. That is smoking !!!!! I really think it is going to fail in the market place. And that is to bad, it would be fun to play with some reloads. You could also try a .220 swift !

That is another interesting area for those rounds. If they could fix the feeding problems it would be cool to see them in a 7400, BAR or even a AR15.

in an AR, feeding is flawless, seems buy the time the web of the cartridge is past the feed lips of the mag, the bullet is already started in the chamber. I have a 25 wssm AR, awesome whitetail rifle!!!!!
In my mind, this is the main niche the wssm fill, allus guys who love the black rifles finaly have some real big game hunting power. with the same uncanny accuracy that make the black rifles so popular, and the same "cool factor"
The man who runs dedicated technologies has been busy building WSSM uppers for the last couple years. He is a gunsmith by trade, and specializes in AR's, he says he would starve building wssm's in bolt actions but is busier than the proverbial "one armed paper hanger" building uppers and complete rifles in the EBR (evil black rifle) configuration.

too windy to zero but bore sighted, i'm hitting what i aim at.

I tell you what.you will love that gun and caliber. For factory ammo try 55gr Hornady VMAX moly. My 2Savages' loves that ammo.
