Default finally shot gramps old model 1912 Win.20ga

Been sittin in the cabinet for quite a fewyears now , decided today was the day. Me and my son were going to the range .I shot a halfbox of 6 shot at some cans. wacked em out to 30 yds. no prob. andI havn't touched a shotgun in ten yrs.
It did kick more than I expected, not like a 12 but more than my old side by side 20.
Very accurate ,and light, may have totake it alongfor turkey, along with the bow.
Not exactlysure how old it is ,but looks like it's every bit of 70 yrs. old.
Gramps surenew what was good.

You do know that is the only" Gentleman's upland gun "that shoots more than twice..... I have my Great Grand father's Model 12 seriel number 8003. 20 ga 24" Cylinder bore. Been to UP of Mich,Texas,Ga Fla.... I carry that as my back up to my 1100lt. I usually shoot a couple birds a year for my Grandpa Wille......Enjoy the little gun......[/align]

There"™s nothing better then having shot with Grandpa"™s old gun, I use my pop"™s old 12ga SXS for at least one pig trip a year and I grab it every time I here that Fox drive"™s on. As the shot goes towards game the memories come flying back.
