Default Gun cleaning question

I just purchased a new Remington SPS .223. The barrell hasa parkarized (spelling ?) finish and I was wondering what type of material any of you use to wipe it down with, such as an oil rag. I can't find a material that doesn't catch on it and leave small strands of cloth and fuzz. Thanks for the help.

Just spray it down with Remoil spray or get a cleaning patch and use Shooters choice FP10(better lubricant) and your set... I use old tshirts for this and keep a supply around the bench ..you can also go to a autoparts store and buy those red shop rags they work even better.

Thanks, but what i'm really looking for is what type of rag shouldI use. I tried the red shop rag and it leaves a mess on red fuzz on the parkarized barrel. Anyone have any suggestions?
