Default Lost a long time shootin buddy!

My hunting buddy just got out of the hospital today. A couple weeks ago we had been out shooting and he had complained of a sinus infection during the time we were shooting. That following Tuesday he shot a couple rounds of trap and he started having ringing in his ears (tinnitus). He figured it would go away but didn't. It affected his sleep and DR.'s put him on so many meds he ended up in a psych ward for a week. He's out and feeling better, still on some meds but he swore off shooting. Man we have done alot of hunting and shooting together over the last 25 years and yes we always wore ear protection. We had custom molded ear plugs and wore shooting muffs over those. We also had a partner draw for Turkey this season and he probably won't be going. Hope things get better for him I can't imagine him not ever shooting again.
