Default Need somebody who can fix a scope.

I got an OLD J.W. Fecker scope. Im not sure what model it is, the only thing it says is J.W. FECKER 6838. Well, the scope is OK, but I want to get some work done to it. The "T" shaped crosshairs are sowide that I cant see a bottle at 100 yards. I would like to get some regular crosshairs and even get the power bumped up if its not too expensive. Now, dont anybody go telling me to get a new scope or any trash like that, I know what I want if its possible. Please help.

I know they limit thier repair to leupold but start there, they might be able to give you ideas on who does this work. Good luck, it might be tough doing what you want.

Here is someone else who said they repair old scopes. Might be worth a try.

Thanks for everybodys input. A friend of mine gave me the name of a guy he used.

I called him and he said "ballpark" $80 to replace the crosshairs with 14 day turn around.

Contact Parson's. They have a good reputation for fixing old vintage scopes. That Fecker is worth fixing for sure!

wow, I am shocked, I was guessing at least 200 dollars. Good deal. Jump on it. I had a K98with a sniper scope on it from WWII. I wished I kept it and had it fixed.
