S&W 617 ?????
Is anyone familiar with a 617 S&W.
I want to buy a good 22 DA revolver and the 617 seems to be the one but I have never owned one, nor doI know anyone that has.
Any help appreciated.

I've handled several but never owned one. As in all my Smiths, I prefer the "pre-lock" models. I bought a M650 in 22 magnum instead of the 617.
