Default I have a question about the right way to Clean a rifles bore.

I read that when you clean a rifles barrel you remove the bolt and push the brush chamber to muzzle. I know starting from the muzzle will damage the muzzle and effect the acceracy of the rifle. But my question is can you pull the brush back thur the barrel or do you need to unscrew brush before pulling the cleaning rod back out? Thanks for your help.

Hunter 4ever04 yes I do but you have to use bore guide you insert into action and use a plastic ,rubbercoated rod go to this site and you will find how to clean barrels www.hartbarrels.com these guys won't steer you wrong. I am asuming you have a bolt action.
