need a quiet 22 bullet for my ruger..?

i was just wandering what is a very quiet 22 round for my new ruger 10/22/. I would quiet as possible but also deadly. Please let me know what rounds you guys shoot that are relatively queit. Thans alot

try some ely club extra, quietest 22 rounds I ever shot. Once I had strict orders from the mrs, no shooting squirrels out of the walnut tree in the yard.
I slipped out the end door with my custom 10/22 loaded with clubs. I knocked 5 out of the walnut tree while the mrs was standing in front of the open kitchen window washing dishes. she never heard the gun crack.

Remington makes or used to make a great subsonic round with a 40 grain bullet. It wnt about 1050 FPS which iwill eliminate the sonic CRACK! associated with high velocity rounds.
Aguilla makes some subsonic that goes as low as 400 FPS. I think they are made in South America. Should be quiet.
