Default Ruger or Browning

I am looking at rifles and was wondering which one would be best. A Ruger M77 all weather or a Browning A-bolt.

I only know stuff from what has been posted on this forum on others like it.

Ruger's seem hit or miss as to accuracy and whether people like them or not.
Browning's only mark against them seems to be their price.

I have an A-bolt in .338, BLR in .358 and 4 RugerM77's. Like all of them!

Personally, I prefer the Ruger All Weathers. Quite a bit less expensive than A-bolts too.The main drawback (IMO) with Rugers is their lawyer triggers. Have a Timmney or equivalent installed and you are good to go. Good luck.

Pick them both up and hold them.
I like the Browning bolt throw and safety better.
I have one Bolt action rifle from each and just sold a sweet shooting Browning in 7-08 that I regret selling.

I have the Ruger M77 sporter in 7mm Mag with a brown laminate stock and matte stainless steel. Same all-weather multi-altitude performance as all-weather rifle but blows all-weather away for looks. And you can pick up a brand new one for under $550. Thats what I'd buy. (I still need to get a timmney trigger put on, but factory trigger isn't that bad)
