Where will the madness end? There is only so much powder that can be burned for a given bore diameter. Anyone remember the 6mm Mach IV and how many shots it would handle before the throat was comletely erroded?

I like them super PPC cartridges are all they are but boy are they efficient....I like the 243 ssm

Frizz, the madness will end when mans quest for improvment ends. Which is never. Its just mans instinct to improve things. I bet the first men who used spears from hunting said, "bows, that insane", what are these people thinking?" There arrows break easier and harder to recycle an old arrow. It will never stick.

If it errodes to much, they will just use better metal, or change the bullets. Who knows what the limitations of visionaries are.

i dont think these are real. i think it is a joke. and besides does the .243 have a 55grain bullet weight?

i think they should come out with something called a 30-06 magnum. it would sale just put that print on it. i guarantee if its half way decent it would sale if it just said "30-06"

The .30/'06 Magnum has been here for some time. It is the Hornady .30/'06 "Light Magnum" and Federal .30/'06 "High Energy"!! These things are NOT a quest for "improvement"! They are a quest for MORE DOLLARS!!

i think thats crazy....im sure the ballistics will match a regular round already being made...or something that dies out...only throiwing a tiny tiny bullet super fast...i dont see the need for bullet speed...exspecially little bullets..i rather have a giant hunk of lead moving 2500fps than a little tiny one moving 5000fps! what can u possibly hunt with a 55 grain bullet moving atleast 4000fps? grounghogs...ground squirrels maybe...maybe yotes and foxes....but why do u need more predatior rifles when it comes down to it the old ones always win....i dont see the need for a 223 or 243 super short mag?!?!
