Need Some Info Guys

I'm a disabled guy- I still have everyrhing that I came into this world with, but have a difficult walking very far.
The only place I can walk into to hunt Elk here in Montana is a place that has grown up a lot in the last 12 years. Where i could shoot an Elk at 400 yds and under now has changed to where most of the shots are 500 plus.
I wan tto sell my Ruger Stainless 7mag and buy a barreled action for a 300 Ultra mag. I'd want it at least 28-30 inches long with a good porting at the end.
I am clueless on how and or where to do this.
Does anyone here know how or what i need to do?

I spoke to a man from Morrison Precision 520-378-6207 who built a .30-378 Wby. Mag. for a man in a wheelchair who was also subjet to long shots. He built the rifle on a Ruger #1 action with a 30" barrel. The rifle shot under .50", had a 30" barrel, and was easy to handle due to the short Ruger #1 action. Good luck.

leap, if your gonna shoot 500+ yds, you can do better than a 300 ultramag, if you reload, theres a guy who builds extreme range rifles from your action pretty reasonable. His name is kirby Allen and his line of Allen Magnums are pretty awesome. best part is he could use your 7 mag action to do it with. My rifle from kirby is coming today after a 5 month wait and its a 7mm Allen mag, drives a 7mm 160 gr accubond to 3700+ fps, so its a "hold a lil high at 500 yd rifle" actually I got this rifle to fullfill my lifelong goal of taking a whitetail at 1000 yds, and kirby says without a doubt it will happen. let me know if ya want his contact info.
