Default Steven's short action .223

I am looking for a .223 for coyote hunting. I went up to the pawn shop and the guy told me that I could get a brand new Steven's .223 for $300. Is the Steven's bolt action .223 a good gun?

Thanks

Default RE: Steven's short action .223

they say they are as good as any other savage except they dont have the accu trigger from what i can tell these are just like the older model 12's with a synthetic stock.
