Default New line of Remingtons.....

They will be making the first of the line this year in the 30/06 as its 100th anniversary. The gun will be built around the 700 CDL and called the SF Limited. Will have stainless finishing, commemorative engraved floor plate, and a 24 inch fluted stainless barrel. Say it will be the first gun in a multiyear series. Looks like our classic is back! Good looking gun!

Model 700™ CDL™ SF Limited.Unrivaled Out-Of-The-Box Accuracy.

This year, we"™re honoring the 100-year anniversary of the .30-06 Springfield with a Limited-Edition Model 700™ CDL™ SF (Stainless Fluted). These tried-and-true standards for precision and hunting performance join with a stainless steel action and barrel, and a richly finished American walnut CDL stock. The traditional straight-comb American walnut stock includes a satin finish, finely cut

checkering, right-handed cheek piece, black fore-end tip and grip cap, and sling swivel studs. The jeweled bolt body completes the tasteful design.
The Model 700 CDL SF Ltd. Anniversary Edition rifle comes with a beautifully engraved floorplate to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. Each 24-inch stainless fluted barrel is clean without sights and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The hinged floor plate magazine has a four round capacity in standard calibers and a three round capacity in magnum calibers. Finished off with the revolutionary R3™ recoil pad , even the unwelcome "punch" of the high-powered magnums is significantly diminished.

Why don't they make it in a decent style. A pump or auto, instead of those dead beat cumbersome bolts?[8D]

They are making a limited run to honor the 30-06 in the Remington pump as well. Also a limited run of the pump in 6MM Remington.

I dare you refer to a bolt action like that. They are not cumbersome or dead beat far from it. First of all they are more accurate and plenty quick handling if you hit them the first shot whats the difference in a few seconds of getting another round in the chamber.

I like the new cdl looks good to me I want one
