Up for sale a pair of SS old model Vaquero's. They are used, but in great shape and ready for Cowboycompetition. These have been a back up set for about three years and pretty much been on standby the whole time. Great value as a set of starter guns or for a competitive shooter. Never shot with hot loads or even jacketed rounds, only light loads w/ lead bullets. Very tight w/ very little endshake.
This is what has been done to them.
Frame and ejector shroud bead blasted. Barrel, cylinder and grip frame still shiney.
Both have half cocks.
One has free spin, one does not.
Both have widened rear sights for better sight picture.
Competition springs and action jobs.
Base pins shortened and polished for fast, sure ejection.
Cylinders chambers polished and bevelled.
Pins slotted to look like screw heads.
