Default Where can I find a clip ?

Was just given a .222 by my father. I am going to NH in march to snowshoe hare hunt and wanted to take it with me for coyote's etc... Problem is , the clip is missing. Only thing stamped on the gun is .222 remington. Any ideas on where I can pick a clip up for it ? If a pic will help , I have one , but havent been able to upload to the site ( slow !! ). Thanks

Since that gun isn't a Remington 788 a clip for it isn't going to do him much good.

That's a Savage model 340 and you can get a clip for it at Numrich.

EDIT: After I reread this I thought to myself that it sounded kind of rude. Sorry about that, I didn't mean to sound like a smart arse.

That's a Savage 340, made by them, perhaps for another outfit like Sears, etc., if no "SAVAGE ARMS CORP" stamp. But look for a .222 magazine for the Savage 340 and you'll be OK.... Try Numrich Gun Parts Corp., or maybe even Savage Arms themselves.
