I have shot a wholebunch of these bullets and they are a real good choice in the 16" AR-15. You wind up with about the same muzzle velocity as the 20" gun with a 60 grain bullet. A "pet" load of mine with this bullet was 26.0 grains of RL12. Sure was disappointed when I finished offmy last 8 lb. kegin Decemberonly to discover Alliant has discontinued this powder. The bullet has worked out real well for varmint hunting.
