Default Help with new stock....

I have a 30.06, it is a "Santa Fe Arms" bolt action and it has 1943 on it. It has a loose fitting wood stock that I would like to replace and fix. It is a great shooting rifle that was a gift from an uncle that I would like to use. Any recommendations would be appreciated on where to go and what to do to fix it.

Default RE: Help with new stock....

i think i would try to glass bed it first. once you get a good fit then you could refinish the stock. it easier to do than most people think. sounds like it would be a nice project for you.
