savage?
does savage now or has savage in the past chambered any of their rifles in .280 rem? I looked at their website and could not find the information that I was looking for.

Not that I am aware of. I have shot Savage rifles from the early eighties on and off.

the 30/06, .270 and .280 are considered to be sister cartridges. what would be involved in rechambering a .270 or 30/06 to .280?

Because bullet diameter is different, you would have to rebarrel. The good news is that the magazine and feed ramps should not need any work.
