Varmit Gun cal and model

Been looking at a varmit gun other than my RRA AR-15, first I was looking at getting a 223 encore barrel, but since then I have started looking at the Stevens 200 in either 223 or 22-250 or the Charles Daly Mauser in 22-250. What should I do besides buy both, the Stevens is 229.00 and the Daly is 275.00.

I finally got the chance to shoota Stevens 200 in 270on the range last weekend. It was very accurate and the action seemed pretty solid.
The only complaint I had was the stock. It felt kind of "rough" on the hands. The owner says he loves it
