is HOPPE'S #9copper solvent just as good as sweets or other brands like that.. hoppes is the only kind i could find at the stores but if i have to order some of a different brand i will.

Hoppes #9 copper solvent is extremely mild and not at all in the same class as barnes cr-10 or sweets.

HOW ABOUT SWEETS. CAN YOU BUY ANY OF THESE ATANY IN STORES(WALMART, K'S MERCHENDICE ETC). I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO JUST GO PICK IT UP INSTEAD ORDERING IT IF I COULD. I AM WANTING TO SHOOT THIS GUN ASAP.

Duck, understand, these are messy, very potent copper cleaners. Follow the directions closely. Spray your brush down with brake cleaner after your done. Especially phosporous bronze.

The best I have found is Wipeout. You can order it from Midway or Natchez....costs around 12 bucks in the aerosol can. You squirt it in for 2 seconds or so, wait for one hour and Jag it out. If the patch is still blue, repeat and let it sit overnight. This stuff gets the copper out plus alot more the easy way. Regards, Rick.

You can purchase Barnes CR-10 or Sweet's 76.2mm Solventat www.grafs.com or www.midwayusa.com Use a nylon brush CR-10 and Sweet's will eat a bronze one. Good luck.
