My 7MM-08 is a single shot NEF but it shoots the 140 grain Core lokts about the best at 1 1/2- 2 inches.

THATS NOT UNCOMON WITH THOSE GUNS......

I shoot the 140 grain corelokts, they shoot as good as power points, and nosler ballistic tips in my 7mm08 micro medallion. My rifle has never shot great groups. I have not tried winchester silvertips though.

Hey you figure out what bullet shoots the best, and I will get a box of them.

my father inlaw shoots the new fusion ammo through his and it will shoot 3 shot group into a dime size hole at 100 yards,it shot about a 1 1/4 until he installed the sims barrel deresonator and now it is a track driver.but it was a 308.not a 7mm-08.....maybe try the sims barrel deresonatorand shoot the fusion ammo,there are coming out with it in spring 2006....it also has shot everything else good through it so far....
