If you are seeking conclusive proof that humanity has no hope left, I give you this demented label. What do people think a gun is and does? I know that lawyers have to be involved, but even when you factor in the product-liability racket, there is still a certain Alice in Wonderland quality to this warning.
Maybe we should put a sign on the front of every locomotive that reads, DO NOT STAND ON TRACKS WHILE TRAIN IS IN MOTION. Or on the steering columns of automobiles: FAILURE TO DEPRESS BRAKE PEDAL WHEN APPROACHING STATIONARY OBJECTS AT HIGH SPEED CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Anyone who can explain this phenomenon can probably also tell us why Paris Hilton is famous.

those kind of remind me of the "listed" objects you cannot take on an airplane, such as a "rocket launcher, gallon of gas, hand gernade" and the list gets even worse, can't remember them all, and understood even less of them, i mean if your goin to granma's for Christmas and can't even take your rocket launcher, how much fun is that gonna be

One of my personal favorites is the warning that comes on the silica gel packets that reads "do not eat". Sort of like, "hey I bought a new pair of shoes and they threw in a free snack."
When I was into astronomy, there was a warning on my telescope that told people not to use it to look at the sun.
how about coffee cups at say...burgerking...now have labels saying caution HOT!...i worked there i know....when i left the cups had it in spanish too!! i think mccdonalds got sued for HOT coffee or something like that a while back......but what kind of judge could hold back a laugh when someone said their coffee was hot?!?!?!

In today's world it come down to. How can I make money and who can I blame for my stupidity.... The items wasn"™t labeled properly, wasn"™t enough warnings, I couldn"™t read it because of the small print, and on and on and on. If only people would more accountable for there actions.

I know that the coffee incident probably didn't start things rolling down hill, but it sure speeded things up!

Gun makers are responsible for people getting shot, car makers, liable for accidents, even homeowners reponsible for burglars getting hurt on their property! Where will it end? All of our freedoms lost, if we are not careful! Thats where![:@]
