Default RE: sub MOA?

Sub means less than.

MOA means minute of angle. There are 360 degrees in a circle and 60 minutes in a degree. Each minute of a degree (angle) roughly equals 1 inch distance at 100 yards.

So a gun that shoots a sub MOA group is shooting a group that equals less than 1" per every hundred yards. Or another way of puting it shoots a 1" group at 100 yards, a 2" group at 200 yards, a 3" group at 300 yards, so on and so on.

Any time.

BTW, the actual number of one minute of angle is 1.047" at 100 yards distance.

BTW - the group size is measured center to center. Easy way to calculate is to measure the outside-to-outside widest point with a caliper, and then substract with bullet diameter.
