Is is possible to convert a Browning BAR to 35 Whelen? Would you just have the existing barrel rebored or would you get a replacement barrel? If reboring, which would be better to start with a 30-06 or a 338 Win Mag? Where would you get a replacement barrel in 35 Whelen? Thanks

A rebore would be best, and start with a .30/'06. Why would you even think of using a .338?? You don't want to have to replace the bolt too!!
I once saw a BAR .338 that was converted to .458 Win.!
