Default savage 116fss

I have a savage 116fss in .300 wm . Last tue. I was shooting it for practice and I noticed that the barrel nut was broken.[]So I called them and its being shipped to them ,but have any of you guys had this problem????

This is a freak deal. I have had a ton of Savage rifles and have never seen this. I am sure they will make it right. I had a Savage once that had the holes for the scope base drilled off center. They made it right in a hurry. I think Savage is a very good company and have probably done more to keep gun prices in line than anyone else. Hope you get it back quick.
