Default Browning BLR rifles

I love lever action rifles. Anyone have any info on the browning
BLR lever action? No perticuler caliber, IM leaning towards 30-06 or the 270wsm.Just wondering.

I have one in 308 and really like it. It is light, carries real easy, and shoots good. Mine is an older one and has the straight stock. I have shot the pistol grip type stock and like it too. Both of the ones I have messed with are great guns.

Make sure you like the trigger, because you will most likely be stuck with its preformance. It is extreamly hard to find a gunsmith to work on it. Good luck.

I have 2 BLR's.
One is in 308 and was made in Belgium, the trigger on this one is not that bad.
The other BLR is in 223 and is the newer 81 style. The trigger on the 223 is heavier but still workable it is near 7lbs
I like the way the BLR feels and handles but the looks are not that great
